Further fleet expansion for TALIS CAPITAL (UK)
London-based TALIS Capital (UK) in cooperation with INTRESCO LTD continues expansion into shipping assets: geared dry cargo vessel “Santana” (DWT 10860, built in 2007, 2 x 20 mts, ME YANMAR 8N330-EN) was successfully delivered at South Korea and she will be repositioned from Far East to operate in the European and North African markets. INTRESCO LTD will provide full management services including commercial and technical.
Motor vessel “Sophia I” joined INTRESCO LTD’s dry cargo fleet
Modern general dry cargo vessel “Sophia I” (DWT 12,232) built in 2011 was delivered into management of INTRESCO LTD at Far East for further trading within traditional areas: Mediterranean, Black, Azov seas and Continent. Vessel has two cranes of 25 mt SWL each, licensed-built main engine YANMAR 8N330-EN and excellent speed-consumption ratio.
INTRESCO GmbH officially launched its operations in Vienna, Austria
After years of presence in the UK, the Board of Directors decided to relocate all operations from London to Vienna and from the 1st of November 2013 all functions including ship management and ship investments advising activity were moved from INTRESCO LTD, United Kingdom, to INTRESCO GmbH, Austria.
Maritime Labour Certificates issued for all INTRESCO's vessels
All vessels under management of INTRESCO LTD were successfully inspected and verified to be in compliance with the requirements of Maritime Labour Convention (MLC) that was adopted by the International Labour Organisation (ILO) on 23 February 2006. MLC entered into force internationally on 20 August 2013 and it provides a set of comprehensive rights and protection at work for seafarers and aims to achieve minimum on board working conditions covering a wide range of matters, including working hours, health and safety, crew accommodation, seafarers’ welfare and seafarers’ contractual arrangements.
Completion of acquisition of 2 x DWT 10,000 dry cargo vessels enbloc
With assistance of INTRESCO LTD two shallow-draft gearless box-shaped dry cargo vessels were acquired by the Client of the Company: mv “SALVINIA”, DWT 10407, built in 2007, and mv “SABRINA”, DWT 10030, built in 2006. Both vessels were delivered into INTRESCO LTD’s full management on the basis of standard ship management agreement “SHIPMAN 2009”.
Small handysize “Senata” delivered to INTRESCO LTD at Black Sea region
Modern small handysize bulk carrier “Senata” (DWT 12898, built in 2008, 2 x 20 mt SWL, GL Class, YANMAR 8N330 ME) became a part of INTRESCO LTD’s managed fleet. Vessel was delivered to new managers at Black Sea and she is intending to pass SS repair in March 2013.
Bulk carrier “Sandra” joined fleet of supramax bulk carriers
Bulk carrier “Sandra” (TESS-58 type, DWT 58,110) joined fleet of supramax bulk carriers managed by INTRESCO LTD (London). Vessel was successfully delivered by Tsuneishi (Zhoushan) Shipbuilding Inc. to the Owners - Messrs Sandra Marine Ltd (Liberia) represented by Dr Kevin F. Dingli. Sandra is the 300th ship constructed by Tsuneishi after they have introduced the concept of TESS (Tsuneishi Economical Standard Ship) Handymax Series.
Bulk Carrier "Sandra" was successfully launched
Supramax bulk carrier “Sandra” (Hull SS-077, DWT 58,470) was successfully launched as per schedule at Tsuneishi Group (Zhoushan) Shipbuilding Inc. All pre-launching works were accepted by the Technical managers - INTRESCO LTD (London) on behalf of the Owners - Messrs Sandra Marine Ltd (Liberia).
A team of INTRESCO LTD (Ukraine) made the ascent of Mont Blanc
A joint team of INTRESCO LTD (Ukraine) and their friends from Kiev and Moscow (“7 Summits Club”) reached the highest peak in Western Europe - Mountain Mont Blanc, 4810 m. The ascension was devoted to 20-year anniversary of Independence of Ukraine. All participants of expedition reached the top successfully.
Supramax “Selecta” was passed into full management
Supramax bulk carrier “Selecta” (DWT 56,548) was passed into full management to INTRESCO LTD (London) after her successful delivery by Nam Trieu Shipyard (NASICO) to the Owners - Messrs Selecta Steamship Ltd (Liberia). The Vessel was designed by IHI Marine United Inc, Japan (well known design project “Future 56”) and Vessel’s construction is a result of cooperation between IHI Marine United (IHIMU) and Nam Trieu Shipyard (Vietnam).
